It's almost Valentine's day!

So I'm newbie and have been trying to get I to this hobby. A lot members have been so kind and helpful with me and my new tank issues. I would like to play a game to just get to know people better and maybe you can learn something new about each other. Since Valentine's is coming up I thought it might be nice to think about the top 5 things you love. It doesn't have to be anything in particular, just search deep and think of what really matters to you. Myself for example, I love:
1. My beautiful son Parker, he's the light and joy of my life.
2. My wonderful husband who has been my best friend and companion for .... 15 years
3. Movies! I love movies! Renting, theater, on my phone doesn't matter
4. Laying in freshly washed linens, inhaling that fresh clean smell on my pillow and that warmth of a blanket that just came out of the dryer is the most comfortable thing in the world.
5. Just sitting around a table and talking with friends and family playing games, having a cold one and just enjoying each other.

What do you enjoy/ love the most?

 

Hello I don't believe we have met yet on this forum so welcome to fishlore

1. I love monkeys and I have for the last 5 years lol I use to have a huge collection of stuffed monkeys but finally decided to let my dog eat them
2. Reading is a huge passion of mine! I am a guy and proud to say I love my romance novels!
3. I love plants... but I have a black thumb with anything that's not fully aquatic or semi-aquatic xD
4. I love hanging with my friends when we have class time off (English major) we actually started an exercise routine to be able to spend more time together!
5. Snails! That's right I said snails all types too... but ramshorns are my top favorite of them all!

1) Oliver he is my love and my best friend and very tolerant of my many ocd's and wierdnesses
(Bet everyone thought a certain monkey fish would take the top spot? Lol)

2) My boys Mordin and Henry even if Mordin bit me

3) My family they drive me nuts but gotta love them.

4) My stuffed toy panda I've had her since forever and she is still cuddly

5) My amazing shoe collection

Of course I love my snails and my rainbows too and my plants I just thought I would shake it up a bit

 

1,) My 2 daughters that have grown into wonderful young adults.
2.) My doggies and Grand-doggies ( since they are always at my house!): Oscar, Lily, Buddy and Archie
3.) My family and friends
4.) Working in my garden
5.) My house which is about 112 yrs old, it's a constant work in progress, but I love it!

I am adding a 6th - Coffee followed by a chaser of Diet Coke in the morning!!

I love the name Mordin! I have never heard it before. I'm thinking about having another baby so I have been looking a lot of names lately.

Thank you Mordin was named after a computer game character from Mass Effect his name sake is an alien doctor his surname escapes me and the character is really fast talking and easily distracted a little skitty you may say and wears a white uniform and as Mordin is completely nuts and has the attention span of a flea and was white when I got him the name really fit well.

I love random names I always wait with my fish for their personality to come out but with him I knew straight away

That's fun, my son names my fish so most were named after Kung Fu Panda characters. I agree though, I am amazed by how much personality each fish has. I never imagined they were so different. However, my betta in my bedroom is named Sir William of the HMF (Her majesty's fish) because he's so regal and I will always consider myself a queen

 

Lol bettas are so different in personalities I find. All of the ones I have had have been different and Mordin is the craziest of them all

Valentine's day top 5..

1) My amazing and wonderful husband who is the love of my life, plus my son and step son who are both amazing young men.
2) My loving pets, both aquatic and furry ones.. where would a person be without daily pet cuddles to brighten up their life
3) My computer! Where oh where would I be without my computer.. definitely a fishlore addict
4) My family, I am blessed to have such a wonderful family both my close family, plus parents and in-laws
5) My home.. of course, my husband makes it even more of a home so he gets to be listed twice
