Very similar in body shape to this one but on my specimen, there's only one big round dot on the tail fin. Also, the top fin(dorsal fin?) doesn't have that much color, it's only silver not the red and blue.

Ok I just looked at that website and it said the common name is Red Flank NyerereI so it may be some sort of Nyererei, just not this type.

Ok so, all 10 are used to me now, they all come to the corner of the tank closest to the hallway I walk in from when I get home and "greet" me.

Ik what it is! Its a fish lol, this is why I don't deal with victorians to much of look alike. Kinda keep looking like and s44. Is he agressive?

Not really he kinda just cruises near the middle of the water column till another fish gets close, then he just chases them out. But that's about it.

Lol no I don't think it's a thickskin or it probably would've killed off the whole tank by now.

I'm talking to the african cichlids pros ik about your fish to get a second though on what he is so far I been told looks like a sp44 but he might be hybrid. I'm talk to someone else and see what he says.

Ask the other guy ik that knows victorians better his responds "Likely hybrid. Body shape is way too long for the species it looks like"

Yea it probably is, it's too torpedo shaped to be a NyerereI or thickskin, they're more rounded

Yea so him being a hyrbid you should mix him in your breeding stock.explains why I keep thinking sp44 cause he some sort of hybrid of it.

Yep hybrids are hard to tell how they will behave but if he has sp44 is going to show sooner or latter.
