Oh my goodness, I just saw this thread - I've been away on vacation completely unplugged. I know we don't know each other much Gypsy, but we do seem to travel in many of the same 'fishy' circles on this forum. I always see your helpful advice, and your kind and thoughtful manner is always appreciated!

So sorry you are going thru all this - but HOLY COW you are a Trooper!!!!! Wishing you all the best for your recovery!

I wanted to also say that although Gypsy and I don't 'know' each other well, I very much appreciate her kind, thoughtful and often funny content. We need more like her in this world.

Wishing you the best Gypsy! I also feel a little guilty calling you out at this time, but please know that you are in my thoughts and heart daily sweet lady.

Thank you. Got too close to the steps. Went to take a step backwards and found nothing but air. All I could think going down was “well this was stupid” again. I swear though, the bruises hurt more than the bones. Except the sternum. That’s a whole nother thing. Lol.

Talking bit easier. Fall shifted lung a bit so doesn’t feel quite a squeezed all the time. Laughing hurts.

Tell me! Have to hold pillow like heart patient. Sternum feels like it’s constantly being punched. Do all I can not to sneeze, yawn, cough, laugh. So of course doing all the above.

Or laugh... If that is possible!!

Exactly.

Can’t go to restaurants. And here no one has bettas for decor. If it requires work, it ain’t happening. Thank you though.

Gypsy13 I'll try to describe the scene last night

I drove up to the wharf about fifteen mins from home. The view is absolutely stunning. I should take a photo one day. Clear view of the bridge, water, city & aquarium. If you want a house with this view, be prepared to pay upwards of $5 million. I'll describe this better one day

Fiancé stayed with a friend that night so we could be missing each other a bit when the party went down. Waited for a few minutes; ferry pulled in. I hopped on. Stops at Luna park, which is almost directly under the bridge. View of city, opera house, harbour islands & ice cream shops. Ferry departed,& went under the bridge. entered the Quay, which is the city stop. More stuunning views. This side of the bridge is glamourous at that time of day, the sun filters through the arch and onto the water. The opera house is a golden colour.

The ferry began its trip east. Parks, big houses, nice cars, palm trees etc.
I got off the ferry. Friends && family were there. They cheered. I'm still embarassed. View is good: Bridge is in the distance across the water. There is a selection of restaurants and a park. We took up a good chunk of it. (We got permission). There is a nice walk that goes around some cliffs, bush & a military base. The open sea is on one side, as far as the eye can see. On another, the glimmering harbor.

Stay tooned for part two¡!
