    Hey guys,

new betta fishkeeper here. I got my Betta from my local fish store today after having reserved him on Monday. The tank he is in is cycled. Upon closer inspection, he seems to have some form of topical infection, my best guess is velvet but I don't really know.

Any advice? I but some Sera Bactorpur that contains malachite green just now in the hopes of it doing some good just for the sake of it.

These were the best pictures I could get, I hope they help. 30726736_1635384763204545_5372981744876126208_n.jpg30741716_1635385053204516_7505500068959485952_n.jpg

Yeah I thought the same. He doesn't have any of that. I've never seen anything like this and I am afraid he is sick in some way. I don't want to lose him now that I just got him.
