Is this too unlevel?

Is the unlevelness what is causing this difference?

 

cannot really see the picture, is it working? and is the engine making a LOT of sounds? I am thinking this is a HOB filter right?

 

Oh. No. I mean my tank water level is different on the front and back.

 

Yes, that means your tank is on a slight slant. It's nothing to worry about, my tank does that too.
