Emy
125 gallon started in July
Ammonia 0
Ph 8.4
Nitrite and nitrate 0
12 cichlids so far (10 peacocks and 2 haps all under 3 inches)
The fish in question is a very small male ob peacock that I’ve had for about 1 month. Poor guy has just taken a turn for the worse. He was always a little odd looking (very long but not much height) but he is now super skinny, sunken belly, and has one of his fins pinned at his side at all times. He still swims around and eats (sometimes). I started them on the metro/focus/garlic guard today and everyone has been pooping stringy poo like crazy! (That’s good right?). I’m basically just here to have someone reassure me that i’m not going to have to euthanize my entire tank. I have a feeling this guy may be too far gone but I will attach a photo of another peacock in my tank that has a sunken belly (about half the tank has it). I’m in a panic over here thanks to YouTube. I’ve only ever had goldfish and never had any issues like parasites so this is all new, scary, and expensive lol. I’m not adding anything to the water other than conditioner when doing water changes. If it’s internal parasites should I just keep feeding them the metro mix?
