My driftwood has been in my tank for awhile but suddenly since I switched the substrate and added a light(also flourish and excel) its covered in white/clear fuzz. I assume its normal fungas(if its not please let me know what it is). It wont come off when I rub it and idw take the wood out to clean it because of my substrate. Is there anything that will eat it?

Plecos (bristlenose) and mystery snails fixed it when we setup my sisters tank. They cleaned up all the driftwood fungus which looked like yours.

Most fish or inverts will eat it.
Its completely normal for new driftwood to get it
