Is this pump enough for 2 of these air stones?

It would work but I wouldn't say it would be good, especially if you are trying to get two of them off the one value.

Its very dificult to try to even up 2 stones on 1 outlet, usually 1 will work fine and the other not so good if at all, you will need to add a splitter to the line and then an adjustable valve on each line to try to make them even. a 2 outlet pump would be better IMO

if u can get the AP 30 model, for 2 outputs i'd suggest getting an air pomp with at least 3w power

Highly recommend Aquaone if you can get it! Look at the specs and you'll see what suits you best

if it makes any difference, the stones would be linked one after the other.

The air pump you linked to is very small to be running long air stones, especially ones linked together.

You can get a Tetra Whisper 60 for $12 on Amazon.

For the price of the 2 of those 5" air stones, personally I would buy a sponge filter and place a 1" ceramic air stone at the end of the air line inside of the sponge filter. That way, you're getting extra filtration. Sponge filters come in all sizes.

What size is your tank ?

it's a 15 gallon fluval flex.

turns out the pump is plenty of air for the stones. somebody convinced me I need an airstone even though the built in filter has some much so much water coming out that I added sponge to the outflow tube to cut the flow.

I added extra biomedia and sponge to the filter. don't have fish yet, put in plants and water 3 days ago. thanks for the response.

Gotcha.

I figured it was a lot larger tank, since you mentioned 2x 5" air stones.

I would figure between the live plants and the Flex's discharge from the pump, your all set for a healthy tank.

Just for your information, if you want 2 long stones together inline your still better of with a 2 exit pump, one on each end and joined in the middle with a short piece to create a loop. you could also make a manifold, from a single outlet pump too. Although I do not think your settup needs anything

I wish it was a lot larger tank, but my house is so small this is the best I can do.

Nothing wrong with small tanks if looked after, don't fall into the bigger is better or necessary sindrome. They do tend to be slightly more stable and give more room for bigger fish but I like small decorated tanks with rasboras, endlers or white clouds in them.
A friend of mine has some 20 small 2 gallon tanks on a rack in a closset and keeps caradina shrimp and mosses, they are fantastically & beautifully kept.

I think A Tetra Whisper 60 will be perfect for 2 of those stones.
