Is this pulsing Xenia?

Sorry for the very blue pic but is this pulsing Xenia? It came with my live rock!

Yes that looks like pulsing Xenia. It reproduces like mad & can take over if you don't regularly thin it out.

Ok thanks! Do I just cut it and pull it out if needed?

I wouldn't suggest using bare hands, I used long planting tweezers to twist it free from the rock.
