Is this necessary?

So I bought stuff for a pressurized co2 system and I don’t know if I should order this. Is it necessary that I get a power head to disperse the co2 throughout the aquarium? It’s a 29 gallon and I was thinking about getting a 160gph powerhead. Should I get 60 or 160 gph powerhead if so? This is what it would be:

No a power head isnt needed if you have atleast a little flow in your tank.

Ok but I’m running diy right now and it doesn’t circulate at all.

Then perhaps a powerhead is needed. Typically just the filter creates enough but everyone's tank is different.

Ok. I’ll just get it. I can always find another use for it if it doesn’t work out

What kind of filter are you using? If you are using a HOB for example you could run your CO2 line to the input to the HOB. It will get sucked into the propeller and mixed well with the water. Could do the same thing with a canister filter.

It’s hob. I was thinking of getting a little internal filter instead

Ive always preferred to keep as much equipment out of the tank as possible but what your looking at will definitely disperse your CO2 throughout your tank.

OK so the powerhead would work?
