Is this "Glass" okay for my aquarium?

Hi,
I have been trying to find something I like for substrate in my aquarium, and I think I came across something I would really love. It says this is made of glass and safe for aquariums but I figured I would ask just in case. I was thinking of having this mixed in with normal substrate that's smaller to give it a pretty look. I might not use the exact colour shown in the link, but I'm pretty sure they are all made the same way.
Is it safe?
Should I bother, since it might not show up well anyway?
Will it get too dirty to be worth it?

Looks fine to use. The only danger with glass in the aquarium would be the jagged edges to the inhabitants.

Will it get too dirty? I don't know if any of us can definitively answer that, as there are too many variables. But it seems safe to use from my perspective.

The stone "chips" look pretty rounded off to me, so I don't think they could cause any harm to the aquarium.

In terms of it showing up in the tank, it depends on what substrate/gravel you mix it with. I like the coloration, though.

It will get just as dirty as any other substrate/gravel. In terms of how much it shows, it depends on the color you decide. Lighter colors typically show more dirt/grime.

If you like the color I'd say go for it. Just give it a good rinse when you get it.

Great question! I’ve seen that myself and wondered if it’s safe. It would be great for water changes, also, because it’s too heavy for the python to suck up. I’ve been using sand for a while now, and so it’s a great option as a mixer!!

Thank you all so much for looking at that for me, everyone! I'll probably purchase some and maybe share some pics.

I would probobly not use this with digging fish, as some of those peices maybe on a few, but some will almost definitly brake.

Thank you for the reminder. I don't plan on getting anyone who will dig around. I'm hoping to stock my tank with shrimp of various species and maybe some African Butterfly Fish if I'm calling them correctly.
