For my 3 young shell dwelling multies who arrived five days ago, I had bought this:

Product: Omega One Small Cichlid Pellets 250ml - 99gr

Small floating pellets for all types and sizes of Cichlids. Superb color enhancement, with unsurpassed nutrition and palatability.

    Guaranteed Analysis:

    Min. Crude Protein….35%
    Min. Crude Fat………10%
    Max. Crude Fiber…….2%
    Max. Moisture………. 8.5%
    Max. Ash……………..8%
    Min. Phosphorus…….(.5%)
    Min. Omega 3 ………. 1%
    Min. Omega 6………..(.5%)

Ingredients: Whole Salmon, Whole Herring, Whole Shrimp, Wheat Flour, Wheat Gluten, Fresh Kelp, Lecithin, Astaxanthin, L-Ascorbyl-2-Phosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Natural and Artificial Colors, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Folic Acid, Biotin, Inositol, Tocopherol (Preservative), Ethoxyquin (Preservative).

Compared the tiny multies' mouths, the "small" pellets are enormous. I do not think they'll ever be able to tackle those chunks of food.

Could I feed it to my Blue Gularis? Or does it have the wrong composition?
The expiry date is "030119". How long after that would be safe to use it?

    Many thanks in advance!

Should be a decent food for the Killies. I would not concern myself with the expiration date, it's good for many months after that.

Hi! That was a long time ago.

    Thank you!
