Hello All,

I am a newbie on the red blood parrot fish. I am planning to buy 4 for my 90G tank. I see in the store that they sell red blood parrot. I would like to make sure it does not the dyed one. Do the parrot is dyed or natural color? Thank you in advance

Hmmmm....they are particularly vibrant...but I don't think they are dyed. I could be wrong though. Usually the dyed ones are more unusual colors and their coloring doesn't seem as saturated as these guys....from the photos I have seen anyway.....

Natural red is not that shade. Those are dyed.

They are dyed. I have seen many in chinnse restaurants and they are orange.

Too pink to be natural, I've seen adults that weren't dyed and even being fed red enhancing foods they still were more of a blood orange than a red.

Petzonesd.com has a great selection. They are under flowerhorns.
