Is this discus stunted?

I just bought some discus today, 4 of them and 1 of them seems strange to me. 1 of them is a red turq, got them on sale, but to me he seems stunted. The discus does have some abnormalities to me, which I'm a little disappointed about (I wasnt able to see the fish until I got home and put him in the aquarium). I've never dealt with a stunted discus before, I need your guy's opinion. Thanks in advance.

 

What makes you think its stunted/what abnormalities are you seeing?

If we are talking about the one with the bars it doesn't look to bad to me.

Do you know are they all siblings/same age?

 

I don't any sign of stunting or need for concern ?

 

The first abnormality I see is by the caudal fin, there's a little bump that I'm assuming is from a bent spine. Another one are the gill plates. I would say they are "tucked in" instead of just being flat like the others.

 

I don’t see anything wrong. All could be from the same birth. How big are they.

 

The fella is 4 inches. I did pay more attention and came to the conclusion that he's not stunted. The discus just has some abnormalities. I just thought it was stunted because the eye seems to be out of size to the body size. All sizes range between 3.5" to 5". I got the other 5 at a different time. There are 9 in the aquarium.

 

These fish grow at different times. Where did you get them? How big is your tank?

All of them are from Chicago Discus. They are currently in a 55 grow out. I do daily wc.
