So, I think this is a sword. Either way, it was a Petsmart buy 2 mos ago, it recently got big, we decided to snip it into multiple as it sent out 'shoots'..

Please tell me I didnt kill my plant. These are the after photos. It had a good 15-20 leaves, snipped a few big leaves that were holey/wilty, and snipped roots.

    Thanks for looking. =]

Looks more like an anubias to me. I don't think you've killed it :)

I would say it's an anubias plant as well.... although it could be a young sword... didn't the plant come with a name tag?

Looks kind of like a rosette type plant, not really a rhizome plant.

It does look alot like Anubias but the rhizome area is wrong and it sent runner shoots out. Anubias doesn't do that.
