    Thanks. He is already starting to get aggressive. I kinda inherited him from a friend who had to move across the states along with a few other fish. He's going to need a new home

    Definitely rehome him. They are known to suck the slime coat and scales off of smaller tank mates.

    That's exactly what I just caught him doing to one of my cory cats.

    Yeah, they really shouldn't be sold. They aren't good community fish.

    Thanks. I'm going to go get some more plants today and my lfs has a donation tank for unwanted fish so I'm going to bag him up and take him with me.

    How big do they get? I can always set up my 2 gallon tank and add some plants to that also as another option.

    They get up to 11inches, so big. They wouldn't be appropriate for a tank under 55g.

    I eventually want rcs anyways. I'm just waiting on my last few neons that are left over from a school and the plattys my friend gave me to see the fish rainbow bridge so giving him away isnt going to bother me.
