Well nerites don't reproduce in freshwater, it looks like a pretty ramshorn to me, I love those guys, but to each their own

Well, as long as it dosen't chop my plants he can stay peacefully in there

its a ramshorn. they don't eat healthy plants. if the leaves are dying or rotting they will eat that part of it.

I agree with above, it is a ramshorn. They will not eat live plants (though if it is dead/dying then it's fair game). They are considered pests because they can reproduce quickly though.
