This looks exactly like a mystery snail… same foot and has an oporculum but it has spots. I got new live plants about a month ago and a bunch of bladder snails popped up but so did this little guy looks completely different from the rest. He has spots like a pond/bladder snail but she’ll/body exactly like a mystery snail. I’ve never had any babies so I don’t know if spots are normal for baby mysteries but I’m super excited to see what he’s gonna look like lol

Looks like an itty bitty Japanese trap door snail, I recently bought a couple myself and after a day in my tank one had given birth to over a dozen babies that look like that. They are neat little snails.

They seem to stay around the size of a mystery snail, if a bit smaller. They also give birth to live babies every now and then. Seeing as you only have the one you won't be having any population growth.

I would have to see its face to be able to tell you the exactly type. However, its not a mystery snail. Mystery snail shells curl in a clockwise spiral. That is counter clockwise. So its is either a pond or a bladder snail. Japanese trapdoor snails are huge. Their babies are the size of pets store mystery snails. They grow to be around 3 inches. Mystery snails are an inch and a half to 2 or so inches. Pond and bladder snails are about an inch once full grown. Pond & bladder snails pop up out of no where. Normally on plants you buy. Then bam your tank is over run if you over feed or have slow moving aquatic animals.
These are pond and bladder snails. You can see one floating down from the surface. They're actually really awesome animals. I pluck them from all my tanks and put them in their own 1 gallon tank with a low flow filter and plants.
