Is There Something Wrong With My Axolotl? Question

    I’ve noticed there hasn’t been any poop in their containers and now I’ve noticed his stomach has a black mass in it. Both of them have it. They’re less than the size of a quarter. Are they backed up? Or is it something else?

    My adult boy only poos once or twice a week. They tend to digest food slowly because they are a cold water species. I would expect babies to poo more often. When was the last time they went?

    For now just feed as usual and wait a couple days.

    Their water has been so clean with nothing in it for about a week and a half.

    I’ve read that you can fridge them and they usually poop within a day of being put in the fridge.

    I would start being really concerned if they start floating.
