Is there a way to know when a tank is finally clear of any disease?

Some of you may have seen my other thread about having a possible protozoan infection. Luckily, everyone else seems to be hanging in there. I stopped dosing with the paraguard and I was planning on doing a 25% water change this weekend and throw the activated carbon back in the filter but is there a way to know whether or not the disease has run its course in the tank? Since I've lost almost half my fish to disease, I'll need to restock the tank but don't want to add new fish to a tank where whatever was making them sick was still lingering. I am going to take the three remaining danios to the LFS since they won't be happy in just a group of three and I don't want to get more danios at this time.

    Thanks in advance!

The only way is to keep watching for at least two weeks. Just make sure you don't see any symptoms or strange behavior. Your fish will be less than thrilled to be in small schools, but it's only until your sure. Wait before you give them away :)
