Is the dropsy gone?

Hello fellow fish lovers!
So my Betta fish who is 5yrs old started fading in color and I didn’t think to much into it but then his scales started pine coning and he didn’t want to eat. I immediately hospitalized him in a five gallon tank and stated Kanaplex and a salt bath once or twice a day since he isn’t really bloated. His scales seem to have gone back to almost normal so dose this mean that he no longer has dropsy? How long should I continue treatment?

I would continue treatment for 3 days after his last symptoms. So once the scales are completely flat, continue for 3 more days. Then keep him in the hospital tank for a few days after that to monitor.
