Is Seachem's Flourite Gravel Easy To Plant In?

I currently have regular gravel and my plants keep popping out. It's super annoying.
I read online that Flourite is a good substrate. Will this substrate keep my plants in place or do I need to purchase their sand version?

Seachem Flourite has a similar wait to standard gravel. How deep is your substrate? I have about 2 inches of Flourite topped with 1 to 2 inches of black gravel. Non of my plants pop out

Every morning when I wake up, one or two of my Bacopas and/or jungle vals are floating. I can't tell if it's my rainbows or the gravel.

Your gravel looks to be on the big side I think that's why maybe your plants are coming out.. Seachem Flourite is finer (not Flourite Sand) than the gravel you have. I have it in my 20 long and non of my plants come out. I have a plain finer gravel in my 10 and the Vals, Bronze Crypt and even the Java Fern stays rooted. If you have nothing with established roots though it's tough to keep them in, even in Flourite.

I have a hard time keeping bacopa down as well. A smaller gravel may help

I have used both regular gravel and fluorite for plants. The softer pebbles of the flourite are great for plants with smaller more delicate roots but I had issues planting my microsword in it. The flourite kept drifting around from water movement from my hand. It wasn't too bad. At first they kept coming out but once the roots grew in and took hold they now stay put.

I would recommend it. Only thing I don't like is I bought the dark thinking it was black but the dark was more redish brown. Lol but that's my own fault.
