Is Scoliosis Contagious?

I've got to figure out what to do with my Platies.
Backstory:
Bought 11 Platies 5/6 months ago, they're all dead now. All were adults, only one male. 5 died in the first week, not a lot of symptoms. One swelled up and started spinning 20 min before it died. A few weeks later, one died of columnaris. Two months later, some started to get bent spines, looked fine from the side, from the top they were squiggly and didn't look good. Then anchor worms, then over the course of the next several months, they all died. I was concerned about fish TB and always used gloves, since it's been a while, I sort of forgot a lot of the stuff. I think there was one thing that may have been a lesion, but it could have been from the anchor worms.
I have the babies still. They're fine. They've even bred and have some 3 week old babies. No signs/symptoms of anything.
The bent spines really concerned me. I want these to go in a bigger tank, they're currently in a 10 gallon, and with 6 adults and 5+ babies, that won't last long.
Is there any way to rule out fish TB?
Can anchor worms cause bent spines?
How can I determine that they are safe to be with other fish?

From my understanding if it was tb the babies will at least be carriers of it. No outward symptoms but stress can make it show again. The tank should remain as a quarantined tank. No new fish. No sharing tools and don't sell them. Time will tell. I think its like 6 months and no symptoms they are considered safe.

Thank you. So far I have been extremely careful and kept the tanks as separate as possible. One of the babies did die, but I believe it was just weak from the start. It was either three or four months ago that I last added a batch of babies to one tank, the others have been in there since I first got them. Another one I just haven't touched, same batch as the last ones. Oldest were born the same day I got the Platies, so 5/6 months for them.
Thanks for the article, but I think I've read just about every one on tb, lol. Some say symptoms may not show for years (yikes!) others say 4 weeks (doubt).
Ugh, main issue is that I'm moving in July. Fingers crossed they're good...

Yea the time line is all over the place. 6 months seems to be the most quoted. I also have seen studies were it popped up years later. So was it from the initial infection or newly introduced at that point.

Thank you! And good point, it seems more likely to me that it would be a new infection that got through quarantine.
Ugh, maybe I just need a new tank, lol. 20 high's work for a handful of Platies, right?

It does. And I really don't see a reason you couldn't add a few more new ones here and there for some variety.

How many would you say could work in a 20 high? I have some plans I want to put in place first, and I won't be able to move them for a few more months
So, situation is that I'm moving, and my tanks aren't. My awesome parents are letting me keep them at their house while I figure things out, so it's not as important that I move them right before I leave, but it would probably be best. Plus their one rule is no more tanks, lol, so I'll have to wait until I sell off a tank or something.
