It's most likely glass, which should be safe. However, make sure it hasn't been exposed to any harmful sprays, detergents, or anything that could leave a residue.

I'm not an expert. But I wouldn't put anything in my tank unless I knew it was safe for fish.

I don't think it's glass, it feels a tiny bit rubbery

I googled it and surprisingly it's made of plastic which blew my mind

Put it in some tank water and test it after a week maybe? Looks cool!

It's a laser crystal, so it should be glass or transparent plastic, but if you're unsure, don't put it in. Better safe than sorry

EDIT:
Put it in some tank water and test it after a week maybe? Looks cool!
The problem with that is you can't test for chemicals or substances it might be leeching into the water.

Good thinking on the water testing idea, I'll test the water everyday to make sure it doesn't hurt my fishes

I meant test it in a bucket not your aquarium. Since you use prime heavy metals won't be a issue. I would add tank water to a bucket. Test it weekly for ph see if it rises or lowers.

If I were you I wouldn't put it in unless I knew it was absolutely safe for the fish.
