Is My Tank Too Small For Red Tail Shark?

I’ve had a red tail shark for around 4-5 months. He’s been a great addition, and seems happy currently. However, he has grown rapidly and is now around 3-4 inches long. I’m concerned that my tank is too small for him- it’s 90cm in length and it’s 110L.

I want him to live a happy life even if that means letting him go. The shop I purchased him have already said they’d take him back because of how healthy he looks, but I’d really like to keep hold of him if possible. I will be upgrading my tank to around 200L this year.

I’d be grateful for any constructive feedback you can provide.

Yes the tank is a little small for a redtail shark, they really need at tank that's around 120cm in length. At least you do have plans to upgrade in the near future, so he should be fine for a little while.
