Is My Pleco Enjoying His Cave Or Is He Protecting Eggs?

This whole post might be scattered but stick with me!

I have 4 bristlenose plecos in a 20G long, (don't worry! I'm getting a 55 very very soon) the biggest one is a tiny bit less than 2.5 inches. Two are albino and two are black/brown. So far it seems like I have a male and a female for both colors, the albino male being the alpha.

Now that I'm done with the backstory, it's time for my questions. First, the main question, is my male albino protecting his eggs or is he just chillin? He's been half inside that cave for two days now, only coming out to eat and only if I drop some right next to the cave. He's also doing this fanning thing with his fins and idk if that's related to the whole thing. The only reason I think he might be protecting eggs is that he's already growing in his bristles and one of the females seems to bed mature too, which leads me to my second question. Is my albino female mature or what? I'll post pictures if she gets onto the glass.

Here's the male though,

When there are eggs the male.is not.only protecting them but also fanning them.
Could be pre spawning behaviour to me (taking possession of a spot to do so)

Wonder if he got them fertilized? If so, are you ready for babies? Lol.

I'm definitely not ready for babies! I'm going Chile for 2 months early on Monday and only my older sister and my dad are gonna be home to take care of them. And to add on to that I have no empty/available tanks other than a 1 gallon! I'm gonna be posting a thread on this in a sec though, so I don't mess up the threads or whatever.

I'd let nature do its thing then. When you'll return there will be eggs again (it won't stop till you separate males and females)
