Is my Mickey fish pregnant or just fat? I'm pretty sure it's a female from looking at her fins. We had her for about a month. Only Mickey in our tank. So would of had to of been pregnant when we got her. Any help would be appreciated.

They can store sperm for months, and often are pregnant when you buy them. She looks pregnant to me! (Others can probably give you a better idea when she'll drop the fry and what to do with them :) )

She is a platy, and yes, she looks pregnant... The fish that is orange and black also looks to be a platy, but I'd have to see a bigger picture to tell you for sure.

I agree with Paula, she looks pretty pregnant!

    Agree with above

I think she has 1 week or less before giving birth

The orange and black fish are Mollys. Here's some closer pics

She looks very close! I was wondering if it was a molly or a platy (the orange and black fish).

Do I need to separate her into a separate tank?

That depends on if you want to keep the fry or not, and if you have room for them, or a place to take them once they get bigger.
