Is My Guppy Pregnant

    Yes indeed that is a pregnant guppie. Hope you have the stuff to breed her right or the babies are going to die.

    As long as the babies have places to hide some will survive. They will hide in the gravel, plants, decorations. Naturally guppies will populate a well maintained aquarium. Nothing to stress over, only steps needed are having female guppies and a decent tank.

    while they could survive I suggest you get a breeding net box. When she is ready, put her in it and she will not be able to eat them initially. (Yes they will do that) might give them a helping hand to escape.
