Is My Guppy Fish Old?
CinderSam

I got my female guppy about 4 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago she gave birth and was swimming all happy n crazy. But yesterday I noticed she has her tail down and her poop changed to blueish white transparent stringy poop. Today her spine got worse and the pet store employees tell me she’s just too old. I’m wondering can it be a parasite? Are my other guppies gonna be fine? Help.

They often get a crooked back like that when they get old. My one male is getting that way too.

Welcome to FishLore!
I'm sorry your fish is not doing well. I think you are correct, string white/transparent poop is a indication of internal parasites. They will need to be treated with a medication. If the fish is still eating, the best remedy is medicated food. If it's not eating, or you can't find medicated food, you're going to have to find a med that can be added to the water. I can't recommend any meds, because I have never had to treat for internal parasites. Hopefully someone will come along who can recommend a med, if not, you'll just need to read the labels on some boxes of meds.
Best of luck!

If she does actually have parasites then she should be isolated as well. The stringy white stuff can also mean she hasn't been eating much. The stress of giving birth can affect them for a while too.

Aren't internal parasites contagious? If a fish has internal parasites shouldn't the entire tank be treated.

If they have spread yes. Maybe they haven't yet though.

Should always quarantine new fish as to not spread potential problems.

I’ve gotten some readings but however the employees still say it’s just old age. Do these readings suggest that there can be parasites or is it in fact old age? PO4 <0,02 NH4 <0,05 NO2 0,025 NO3 1 (all mg/l). The store says their good readings but somethings off... Also I’ve quarantined her and I’m keeping a close eye on the others if their okay

You cannot diagnose internal parasites based on your water test results. A fish can have parasites while in pristine water.
Your readings are not good. You ammonia and nitrite should both be 0ppm (ppm=mg/l), so it would indicate your tank is not yet cycled.

I’ve been medicating her in a separate tank for a while now but I’ve noticed in the main tank there’s white stringy poop floatin around. I immediately started treating it as well. Should I reintroduce her back into the tank???

You may as well, since it looks like you need to treat the main tank.

She didn’t do well. She got attacked and Her whole back from where the curvature begins seems to be paralysed as she doesn’t feel it nor can move it and she swims tilted/ sideways.... she hasn’t pooped as well.. Should I just euthanise her..?

I'm sorry to hear she's not doing well. I never euthanize fish (I just don't have the heart to do it) so I'm the wrong person to ask.
