Is my guppy about to give birth?

I have had this female guppy for about 2 weeks and she's been pregnant since day 1. I just separated her into a birthing container but am unsure if she's actually about to give birth soon. Her belly seems to have that "shape" I've read about and her gravid spot has gotten very big over the last few days.

 

It does look like the stomach is giving that box shape and the gravid spot does appear darker. Do you happen to know the behavior she was displaying before you moved her to the birthing container?

I didn't notice her being aggressive towards any of the tank mates. She wasn't isolating herself that I knew of at least. She's just been blowing up the last few days!

Haha, understandable. Usually, I tend to notice them isolating before giving birth, so she might not be as close. I know that it can take up to 4 weeks for them to give birth with the usual average being around 22-26 days after mating. You mentioned you had her for about 2 weeks and she has been pregnant since day 1. She might just need almost a couple of more days before she gives birth. Though, do you happen to know if she hasd been pregnant for a bit before you got her?

Ah, that makes it a bit hard to pinpoint how far she is. I would say possibly give it another day or so!
