Is my female betta too young for my male?

Hi, I just got my female betta who is 3-4 months old, and I got my male in September 2020, I don’t know exactly how old he is but is mature and lively, he still builds bubble nests and flares at his reflection in the glass. Is my female betta to young for him? I want to breed them.

Also, is a 15 gallon tank to big to breed them in, I am only going to fill it up a few inches? Thanks.

If they are both sexually mature, no, she is not too young for him.
