Is my Cory about to spawn?

I've googled a fair bit and also searched through this forum but I'm not having much luck!

One of my cories, Doris, has developed quite quickly a big lumpy(ish) white tummy with a black line in the centre.

She is still happy and busy as always. Occasionally she darts up to the surface and back down again, top speed.

My daughter says she's doing that because her tummy has excess air in it. But I'm wondering if she's about to spawn.

I've taken the best photo I can - she's either way too fast or she's sitting there. Actually she looks a bit dirty at me for sticking a camera in her face while she's trying to chill ahaha.

Oooh! Update - are these eggs on the glass? Last photo.

Looks like you got your answer! those few eggs are just the start, she can lay a couple of hundred though most will be eaten by your other fish, or even the corys themselves.

Thank you! Raising fry is the best ever. I've never intentionally bred fish and I don't intend to start, but I have guppies and so ... yanno. I never thought baby fish could be so gorgeous. Guppy fry are so brave and adventurous. I love them.

I think trying to raise cory fry, though, might actually kill me with too much cuteness :-D

I read that before they get started properly, they "clean the glass". Omgggggg.

Before I went to bed I checked on her and she was ... cleaning the glass. I'm dying. They're already my most personality-filled fish as it is. It's all just soo cool.
