I've been feeding my betta a sprinkle of the pellets once a day with a fasting day once every 2 weeks . I noticed he has a bloated belly is he just overfed and constipated or is this some other medical issue.

seems like hes bloated from eating. In the future try to only feed him 3-4 pellets a day. Their stomachs are only about the size of their eye and the pellets expand in water so even just 3 can completely fill them.

You should feed him 2-3 pellets twice a day and fast him for a day every week (I think). If he is constipated try feeding him peas. You should also keep an eye on him to see if anything changes, hopefully he’ll get better I’m a couple of days!

I feed mine 6 days out of the week. Always skip a day during the week! I feed mine6-8 pellets twice a day, so she is thick, but she is also full of eggs right now so it is normal. A male shouldn't be that big in the belly. Feed some de-shelled peas?

Try feeding him bloodworms or blackworms, pellets can cause bloat, and if the bloating doesn't go away and it's not constipation, it might be an enlarged organ (my 2nd betta died from enlarged liver) or parasites.
