Is my air pump creating too much water agitation for my angelfish?

I’m pretty new to owning fish and pretty naive. I have 1 angelfish in a 55gal tank with some live plants and fake plants divided on the ends of the tank. I have the temperature right at 79 F and have a top fin pf75 silent stream filter and an air pump.
I read that angelfish prefer calmer water flow but I can’t tell if the air pump is making the water flow too fast for the angelfish. I’d imagine I would need a pump for this tank and I can’t adjust the rate it produces bubbles. This air pump has two tubes and I put them on both ends of the tank. Is this too much water agitation?

This is what it looks like ( I know I need more plants but this was from a previous tank)

No one else has replied yet, so I'll give you my opinion and then hopefully someone with more knowledge will jump in.

It looks like you have a HOB (hang on back) filter. It will agitate the water surface and help oxygenate it. Thus, you probably won't need the air pump. I have a 55 gallon with no air pump and it has been fine. That being said, your filter might be the thing creating the most flow in your tank. You can reduce the flow by cutting the ends off a plastic bottle.

I think your angel will be fine with the flow created by that filter. No harm in adding in some extra surface agitation and oxygenation via the airstones either.

Like otterblue said, you don't often "Need" an air pump. The tiny bubbles breaking the surface dont add that much. If your tank is overstocked, with many fish fighting for oxygen, or If you needed to raise the temp to treat disease, the added oxygen may be needed, but you can turn it off if you want.
That being said, the flow from the filter is much heavier. But even that its probably fine, .especially if the water level is kept high. The angelfish I had were laying and fertilizing eggs every three months right on the hang on the back tube. But if you notice your fish avoiding the area where the filter is, or getting blown around where the filter is, there are multiple ways to baffle the flow. I tied a sponge in front of the outflow of a hang on the back for a betta.

I suggest that you remove that plastic blue and greeen plant. Angel fish have Long and delicate fins. Silk plants are safe.
