Hello! I went to my LFS today, and initially planned on getting 20 cherry shrimp. But the guy (a good friend of mine and reputable local breeder of fish and shrimp) gave me 35 neocaridina shrimp, 14 neon tetras and frogbit, all for $5! He assured me it wouldn't overstock my 7.5 gallon / 28 liter tank, but is it overstocked?

Sorry, I just joined the forum today. Please let me know if I have any formatting errors!

IMO Yes. The Neons would be much better in a 20 gallon long especially a good size school like that. The shrimp shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you. I only have a backup 30cm cube tank, so I'll be splitting the tetras for now until I can get a proper setup.
