Is my 47 gallon cycled?

I did a fish in cycle using dr. Tims and its been about 2 months. My ammonia and nitrite look to be very low and some nitrates now showing. What should I do next? Wait until nitrates are high to do water changes?

From left to right: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate

What fish are in the tank? Did you not do a water change for 2 months?

The above does appear like a cycled tank. Maybe a tinge of green on the ammonia (hard to tell) but sometimes people get that trace of ammonia after being cycled for months. As long as you show the same readings for 2-3 days straight then I'd say you're cycled.

Yes I did water changes lol, almost daily or every other day, I did 50% yesterday. I have a rainbow shark, 4 glofish, 3 angels, 1 gold loach, 2 hillstream loaches and 5 cory cats

Angels and hillstream loaches are not temp compatible. Also gold loaches need groups of 6+. Glo fish also need groups of 6+ and so do cories

Ok, then I misunderstood your statement about waiting til nitrates get high to do a water change. You're going to want to keep nitrates below 20ppm by testing at least once a week before a scheduled water change to see how much to change out.

You also have some stocking issues but I don't know if it's already been discussed on another thread.

Sadly people at fish stores know very little to nothing about fish. Every once in a while you will run into someone that knows a lot.

So what should I do for the better of the fish? I did read that the loaches need a current so I set the out put to blow a stream where they like to hide in this crack in the wood

What temp should angels be at? My tanks at 78 right now. I have no problem rehoming if it will hurt them if I leave them in here.

The dojo loach, hillstream loaches, glofish tetras need much cooler water than your angelfish. The dojo and the rainbow shark need a 55 gallon minimum. Depending on what cory species you have, they may not be temp compatible with your angels either. I agree they need to be in a shoal of at least 6+.

It's also not recommended to keep angelfish in 3's because if 2 pair off, they will become aggressive towards the third.

So the angelfish, rainbow shark, and dojo have to go.... And I need to add 1 more cory ( I was gonna add 3 more already)

3 corys are albino 2 are black spotted

I'd keep the 3 albino and get at least 3 more albinos as they are more temp compatible w/ the angels. You could also get bronze corys as they are the same species as the albinos (aeneus). I'd rehome the black spotted as it's better to have one large shoal in this tank size than 2 different cory species.

Yes, if/when you see the angelfish pair off, rehome the 3rd. You're also better off rehoming the dojo and shark. I'd rehome the glofish as well and get a warmer water schooling fish like rummy nose tetras, black neons, cherry barbs or glowlight tetras. You could pick two schools of these.

That might work actually I only got the glofish because my daughter wanted them, I might get one of those glofish kits and have just glofish in her room!

Make sure it's at least a 20g. If it's a high, she could have around 6-8. If it's a long tank, 10-12 would be ok if there are no other mid dwellers.

When I was a beginner I got a butterfly loach and some cories. The butterfly went AFTER the cories. Luckily I was there to watch, so I removed him;(. Plus didn't know they weren't temp compatible
