my id sharks are suffering from ich really bad but I don't know what to use to treat it because in the tank I also have 4 african dwarf frogs and a pleco. what is the best thing to do to treat it. SALT? heat alone? over the counter meds?
what is the safest and most effective way to get rid of the ich without hurting my frogs and pleco?

don't use the aquarium salt for sure. check your other post for the ich treatment. heat alone is good.

I use some salt in my tanks to keep away some of those parisites, but I use a 1/4-1/8 of the recommended dosage. This way they get the benifits of the salt and are not really affected by it either.

Yes and there are no side affects other than the abnormal head. Just kidding about the head.
