Is It Possible To Keep A Snail In A Dp Tank Without It Getting Eaten?

I thought maybe Nerites would be big enough to avoid getting eaten since the one I have in my tank is like an inch, maybe even a little bigger than an inch long, but I am not so certain anymore...

I do like having a few snails in my tank to help with algae but is the DP just gonna murder them all?

Probably if given the chance, especially if ur snail gets tipped over and can't flip back over. Or at the very least **** harass it til the end if he can't break the shell.

There are actually cases in which a puffer will not eat a specific snail such that they can have a cleaner tank, so it is possible. It is just very rare that that occurs

Man... as much as I find puffers cute I have to say that's pretty boring being unable to keep anything else in the tank with it.
