is it ok to post both the links of the fish forums on my website or should I just not post them

ya but I am on another fishforum and my site is accesible from that forum and I was just wondering if it would be bad if I put a link to both forums on my site I don't know if there are any rules against that

no I am active in two forums and users on both forums view my site if I were to put a link to fishlore and my other forum you guys could go to that forum and they could come to this forum I was asking if I could do this since I don't know if that's advertising or something like taht

Generally speaking, what is not cool is to link one forum in another forum - like posting links to your other fish forum in posts here. But providing links from your personal webpage to each forum would normally be fine.

AnnaEA hit the nail on the head. If you want to put up links to both forums on YOUR website that is fine. If the other forum that you participate in is tropical fish related ask them if they would be interested in exchanging links with us. If so, ask them to visit and that will help both websites.

yes the other forum is a lot bigger and has saltwater as well but is huge thousands of members not so much of a community like here in that site the communitys are in each of the separate subjects if you don't mind can I PM you a link to the forum Mike that way you can make sure you don't mind because if I put a link to this site you may get people you may or may not like I will send it to you and lemme know
