hey
I've decided to get a red throated or red chinned panchax killie.
(epiplatys dageti)
but where can I get some?
so far eBay looked good to me.
but is it safe to order from eBay?
there is a couple of this species for sale and it looked nice with lots of sales
but I do not want my fish to be easily stressed or hurt.

I'd suggest you look at the seller's feedback.
That will tell you a lot about what to expect.

• Make sure the seller has a good amount of reviews with a 90% or more positive rating
• Check that they have Live Arrival Guarantee
• Pay with PayPal. If the customer doesn't deliver, you'll get your money back.
• Go to the reviews and search for the specific fish you want to order. See what others say about the condition of the fish when it arrives.

Other than that, I think there not much more you can do.

Good luck

If all is good with the seller as you said, then you should be ok buying from him. After all, ebay is more pro-buyer than pro-seller. I used to sell on ebay, so I can attest to that.

I personally would advise you not to purchase a fish from a seller with no history of previous deals.

quick question
would a Gardner panchax be fine for my 40 gal as well as a pair?
I have
5 guppies,
4 cories peppered (planning to get more),
3 zebra danios,
2 nerite snails,
1 bristle nose pleco as well.
is it safe?

or lyre tail killies?
(scientific name: aphyosemion australe)
