I have a marbled crayfish and sometimes it takes several hours to 1 day to complete the moltView attachment 540302 so I got a crayfish this week and lo and behold, he is molting. I am wondering though... when they molt is it very quick if thing, or does it take some time for them to get out of their shells, Because I’ve seen crayfish videos online and they seem to get out of their old shells in a few seconds... the reason I am wondering is because he is like half way out. I tried to get a good photo my it wouldn’t focus very well.
I agree with you. Mine has never got stuck but its taken up to a whole day to molt. This one looks stuckI have marbled crays and had a Mexican Dwarf and I have never had one get caught up in its molt. I can't quite tell what I am looking at, is it stuck in the head or the tail?
