Is CO2 necessary for my tank?

I have a planted 10 gallon that I'm currently running with DIY co2, but am considering stopping the use of it because of how finicky and high maintenance it is. I have the "NICREW BrightLED Aquarium Light, High Output Fish Tank Light for Freshwater Tanks, 18 to 24-inch, 18-Watt, 1200 LM, 7500K", and my stocking is 1 culture of hairgrass I plan to use as a carpet, a floating bacopa (species not specified because PetSmart), a Scarlet Temple, a Java fern, and some Java Moss. I am also dosing Easy Green twice a week. Does my tank need Co2, and if so, can someone help me find an affordable co2 tank and regulator?

I don't think it's necessary because your plants can be grown in low-tech tanks. Just continue water changes regularly, plants'll get enough CO2 from changed water.

Just remember that if you have high lights and zero CO2, you'll get algae. If you have low light and CO2, you'll also get algae. If you have high light and CO2 with less fertilisers, you'll also get algae blooms. Remember to keep everything balanced.

Before I moved into co2 I had the same set up as you with the same plants. Everything grew fine except the hair grass. It never carpeted. With slightly more light and maybe a low BPs u can make it happen

If you shut down CO2 don't forget to reduce your lighting and fertilising or you'll have an algae outbreak. You might find that you'll need to replace the hair grass and scarlet temple with less demanding low light plants. See how they go.

You only need co2 for yoir hairgrass but all you plants will benefit from it.
