Is Aquascape Just Uneven?

I had to remove a pretty big artificial plant and now it just doesn't look right. What do you think?

They should be fine. I rearrange rocks in my tanks frequently just to deal with aggression

How should I move stuff to make it look better? Does it look weird to you?

 

I like it.

Not sure how big the one you removed was, but maybe 1 or 2 medium-large leaf plants in the back left corner like the right side has. It will hide some of the tubing/wiring and make the little hideout pop against the plants. I didn't notice it at first since it blends with the rocks. Maybe a background?

And, they don't have to be a large leaf, could be something like a Val or 'plant grass'. For a few ideas.

I love the shell trail. Reminds me of finding dory.
I think some bushy medium plant behind the hut would look nice

 

I'm gonna have to go pick up a couple more plants. I want more live ones the green ones are real. Maybe fake cuz its easier lol I did completely rearrange. I'm at work right now but ill take a picture when I get home

 

Took a guess and it was wrong lol. I couldn't tell. I would definitely choose some real ones then. I like jungle/vals for the background. Pretty hardy and with right care, will provide more plants for free

I picked up a little pack of green ones (fake) ill add them in the AM
