Hagen's Sun-Glow is 4,200K if I remember correctly. It's definitely better than a bulb with a lot of blue spectrum, such as those actinic bulbs over 10,000K. I can't guarantee that your plants will do well under this light, but they should. If you haven't bought the bulb yet, why not get Life-Glo instead. It's 6,700K and it's GREAT for growing plants. It also gives a beautiful daylight color (Sun-Glow is nice too but it's too yellow for me personally).

Ya the labels the containers are rather confusing if you are not sure on what you are looking for.

Isabella maybe we should make a topic and pin it on light bulbs such as t-5, t-8, pc, l.e.d.?

Great idea Atm Only ... I am not very informed on all kinds of bulbs (T-5, T-8, etc ...), lol. I'd have to research it first to write about all the kinds so that the info would be accurate. Don't want to write something I am not fully familiar with. But if you're familair with the topic and feel like helping, I'd be glad to pin your thread

I can pin my own threads muhahaha but you can delete, unpin, and recommend to ban me to Mike :'( but ya maybe when I write up a light article for the magazine I can post it and pin it here.

LOL Yes, anything you'd like Then I'll ask other mods to review it and if it's OK (which it will most likely be), you'll pin it in the lighting section. Thanks

Well that will be in awhile, I know enough on pc and t-8 but not enough about metal halide and probably could use some more on t-5 and l.e.d. It will be in awhile since Tom has suggested this months article, but it's a secret between us :;sm
