Is 2 Anubias Plants Enough For A 10 Gallon Tank?

I put 2 anubias plants(from petco) in my brand new tank right after I conditioned the water. Is this enough?

Eh yeah. Depends on inhabitants and filtration. If no filtration get some java ferns or java moss

I feel like you can never have enough plants, unless they are completely choking up the water column and your fish can barely swim, that would be when there are too many plants.

What is filtration and inhabitants? At chain stores they are pricey.

Aquatech 5-15 for filtration and the tank was just set up today, so no inhabitants

You’ll be fine you don’t even need plants once it’s cycled. They always help though. You’ll be good for now. Just wait a few months and you’ll be set

For me the more the better. My 10 gallon betta tank has at least 2 of each: Anubia, Amazon sword, narrow leaf java fern, water sprite, and crested java fern or windelov java fern. The benefits they give to my water quality is amazing, especially my water sprite and java fern. They're growing like mad and have produced enough baby plants to fill my 20 gallon and 5.5 gallon tanks.

Then that’s okay. What I’m saying is it really doesn’t matter how many plants you have, unless you think you have too many or too little. It’s all up to personal preference. Some people keep a very clean and tidy aquarium with few plants, and that’s enough for them, but others aren’t satisfied unless they’ve got a minI jungle. It’s all up to how you feel, if you like your two plants and think that’s good enough, that’s okay. But if you want more, that’s also cool.

It all depends on what exact subtype of plants too. My 10 gallon has one Anubias but it's starting to outgrow the tank. So are the elodea. The only one that isn't is my lilaeopsis grass.
