Introducing Our New Fur Babies

HI Everyone!
So excited to show off our newest editions to the family! We adopted a pair of 8 week old kittens this weekend from a local rescue. Went there to get one and ended up with 2 . They are sisters and couldn't be sweeter. The Calico is named Ivy and the black striped is Fern, so far the dog and cat we already have were pretty accepting of them, our dog actually was whining and looking all over for them once we had put them back in our room. Can't wait to get home to them, definitely did not want to come to work this morning!

Thank you! They are growing so fast it is crazy. Hard to get pictures of them because most of the time they are running around like little maniacs.

 

That was nice of you to get both, I hate seeing family getting separated. Very adorable!

 

We just adopted a 2.5 month old kitten on monday as well. We named him LokI because he was the spunkiest and craziest one, hes all black. Cant post a pic cuz my memory is too full on my phone but he sure is cute. My dog loves him but tries playing a bit too rough sometimes. Congrats on ur 2 babies! Theyre cute!

 

I have a 10 week old, we found her when he was 6 weeks old, cause we think that someone threw her out their window as they drove past, she had some injuries when we found her, now she is the cutest little bundle of energy.

Thanks! Like I said we went to get one and somehow it just felt right getting them both. Maybe sounds corny but we picked the calico first and it felt weird, like unfinished and then the hubby and I talked it over and decided to get both, then it felt like that was how it was supposed to be.

That is awesome, congrats on your newest family member! I hope you will be able to post a picture soon, I would love to see him. We have the same situation, our dog adores her new sisters but is too rambunctious with them still. She tries hard to be gentle but she just wants to play in the worst way. Have fun with your new kitty!

I might be able to post a picture of the day we found her, I'm not sure. I'll try, she is a little tabby. I can find a picture on the internet that looks like her. She is very cute and feisty.

Here are our cats, the kitten is the one we rescued, her name is Firecracker.
