Introducing New Food Into Goldfish And Zebra Danio Diet

I have 3 common goldfish that I feed omega one sinking pellets. I also have 6 zebra danios that I feed tropical granules or tropical flake food. I don't substitute their diet. I realize now for them to get healthy and thrive they need stuff like bloodworms and/or vegetables. Is there any way I should introduce it into their diet? What food do your goldfish and/or zebra danio like?

There's no real way to formally introduce it into their diet, just start giving it to them once a week or so. How big is your tank? You would need a massive aquarium for 3 commons.

30 gallon. They are about 2 inches. When they get bigger I'm upgrading hopefully. Ammonia is 0. Nitrite is 0. And nitrate is 10. IceFyre1414

Okay thanks! When I first got the goldfish I had them in a bowl because I didn't know better. ): then I put them on a 10 gallon with a filter. Then I put them in this 30 high gallon. I think their growth was stunted when they were in the bowl. I got them from a fair. BottomDweller

Have you ever had mysterious deaths after feeding frozen bloodworms? I was reading some forms about this and it happened to 3 people so far from what I've read. My car gets really hot so the frozen bloodworms could have thawed a bit and then when I refreeze them they probably have some bacteria in there. Do you think it's safe to feed them?

Sorry I didn't get this mention. They will eventually need a 200 gallon+ tank

Yes it should be fine. I have never heard of deaths after feeding bloodworms.
