Injured Mystery snail

One of my mystery snails was able to climb out of the tank and she fell. I have been checking her a few times everyday for 3 days since she got injured. I noticed she was moving but not changing her position for the first day, there was also some white discharge that came out of her shell that other mystery snails were trying to eat. The past 2 days I have not seen much movement and it is becoming harder for me to tell if she is moving. She does not smell but since I am worried about her decomposing in the tank, if she is dead I moved her into a smaller container today. I want to know what I should do to help her while preventing a possible ammonia spike in my tank. I was thinking of taking her to my lfs to see if they could identify if she was dead or injured and if they knew how to help her recover. I know mystery snails are cheap but I had a connection with this one and I would like to help her recover if I can. *Side note* I know that mystery snails need around "3" of space in order to lay their eggs above the waterline. The filter still works if I do this but it begins to make more noise than normal which can be distracting. After reading articles I thought females would just not lay eggs if the water level was too high for them, I did not know they would escape a lidded tank.

theres really nothing you can do except regular water changes id be tempted to take some out of her container and replace with tank water every few days, there are no med for an internal injury if she has one, offer food and if not eaten in a few hrs take it out, apart from this theres nothing I believe you can do its a waiting game, as for laying eggs the will do their best to get out or lay in the lid if you raise the water, can you lower the filter in the tank

Thank you, she has been peeking out of her shell but still not moving around. I put her back in the 20 gallon tank so I do not have to do daily water changes. I put some cucumber next to her for 2 hour but I did not see her go for it.

Is her shell cracked or broken ? If she’s poking her head out she’s alive and may just be in a bit of shock and that’s why isn’t so active.
Is the container lidded ? I’d be tempted to put her back in the tank but at the front so you can monitor ..

On this note, you can use some of those cheap floating breeder boxes, or even could use the smaller container fill it with water and keep it in the tank. This will allow temperature and PH to stay the same, but if she does pass it will prevent an ammonia spike.

If your snail's shell is cracked, you should go check this post out, it is pretty incredible and very informative.
