Hey everyone, I'm still fairly new to keeping clown loaches but ive kept 6 for about a year now, 3 days ago my smallest one got into a fight with my oscar who tried to eat him lol. oscar got spiked down his side by the clown and has now been moved to his own tank, but since the insident the clown loach has been breathing very fast and his eyes have gone grey :S there is also some white scaring on the top of his body near his tail and he is spending most of his time hiding under rocks seperated from the other clowns! Its nothing to do with water/filtration etc I just don't know what to do with him can anyone help?
Here are a few pics of the little guy

Welcome to FishLore!

It looks like your clown loach has ICH in the first picture and in the second it looks like he has an infected cut. I suggest raising the tempurature a few degrees and doing daily waterchanges of 20-30%. You should also do gravel vacs every day or every other day. Your fish should be feeling better in no time

Hope this helped!

Thanks for replying! Ah I suspected the cut had gotton infected it wasn't as white as it was the other day ive raised the temperature slightly and will increase water changes, I don't think it has ich in the first pic those dots on its head is actualy sand. It is still breathing very fast and I also think it might have gone blind Its eyes look worse now than this morning and it is clinging to the side of a rock and seems suprised when other fish bump into it, could this be because of an infection? Thanks

Oh, well if it's sand then great! Sometimes fish are blinded by other fish during fights . Are both of its' eyes cloudy? A great antibacterial med for fish is called Marcyn 1 & 2 that you can get off ebay in the UK. I believe that's how you spell it
