I do not personally have any crayfish, but I would say the rule of thumb with most fish keeping is trying to give a variety. Perhaps try brineshrimp, bloodworms, feederfish, and algae wafers. (Gives awesome protein as well as a veggie.) But hopefully someone more experienced with them sees the post.

Keep an eye on your fish as your crayfish might just make a meal out of them.

You can feed him shrimp pellets that sink to the bottom. Any type of green veggies, and he will also clean up the food that your other fish don't eat.

LOL that crayfish I was talking about grew to 6 inches and demolished all of the fish in the tnak. I sold her 6 months ago after she had little baby crayfish

It's a good idea to look at the date on a thread before posting something. If it's a relatively straightforward question like this, the need for an answer has likely passed (as in this case).
If there's an extra piece of info you'd like to share, or a question you'd like to ask, better to start your own thread. That way, you can tailor it to your specific needs. More likely to get read/get answers that way.
On the other hand, if it's a deep discussion (such as those that can be found in the Hot Topics sections), there likely is no problem with adding your two cents.

Necroing a dead thread isn't a horrible thing, by the way. Just a bit rough on the forum's server.
